Jon Tompkins grew up in Clemson and has spent the last 17 years in the real estate business with 14 years specializing in the sale of raw land and residential development properties. He earned a business degree from Southern Wesleyan University. He was a committee member of the local branch of the National Deer Association (formally QDMA) conservation group, is currently a committee member of the Greenville Chapter of the NWTF conservation group and is involved in many other groups focused on wildlife and land conservation. Jon also has a non-professional background in wildlife land management including management of wildlife populations and quality of harvestable game and understands the processes involved with setting up lands for hunting local game. Jon is a life-long outdoorsman who enjoys fishing, hunting and golf. Jon and his wife, Jill, have two daughters, Sarah and Molly. He and his family attend Shilo Methodist Church in Piedmont/Powdersville, SC.
